As DUST 514 is very exciting and coming at the end of summer, I wanted to share some additional details on the Home space experience (and the rewards that go with it).
The weekly outfit rewards that you can win from the Slay mini-game are in fact rotated (I was incorrect stating otherwise in the blog comment from Wednesday):
The rewards are on a constant rotation with one suit available each week, changed over every Monday morning (GMT):
DUST 514™: Amarr Heavy Dropsuit Scout
DUST 514™: Gallente Scout Dropsuit
DUST 514™: Minmatar Logistics Dropsuit
DUST 514™: Caldari Assault Dropsuit
The companion reward should be rewarded to anyone with DUST client on their PS3, Beta or Final. After opening one of the DUST clients, the companion reward will be granted to you upon your next entry to the Event Horizon Lounge (the DUST space in Home).
Additional DUST 514 beta codes will be added to the Home space via the Recruiter but not date is set yet. Keep checking back weekly to earn your reward suits, enjoy Slay (it's tough, but fun), and let's get ready for when DUST 514 releases later this summer.
Also at that time, everyone's chip count will be reset and all the leaderboards will be cleared to set season 2 off on an even playing field.
If you haven't played in a while, or want to try to get in on that trophy action (only 10 will get it!), get in there now and play your hearts out. Good luck!
As we are always focusing on new content and looking to the future, occasionally we need to do some "spring cleaning" of older, under utilized, and sometimes no longer supported content. With that, we will be retiring the following spaces, but be assured that none of the virtual items you received from any will be lost from your inventory:
Resident Evil 5
Uncharted spaces (including Sully's Bar, Smuggler's Den, Artifact room, Room Behind)
Far Cry 2 spaces (Train Station, Reuben's Room)
Namco Theater and Namco Arcade
Hot Shots Golf
Ratchet & Clank spaces
Street Fighter IV
ModNation (already removed from the navigator)
Magic the Gathering
Elemental Monster lounge
Gamer's Lounge (already removed from the navigator)
We know everyone likes ample notice prior to removal of content, so be sure to get in there and enjoy it and collect any missing items you haven't picked up yet before they're gone for good!
Due to popular demand, we're letting the spaces stay a tad longer—so get in there and enjoy them a bit longer, but the plan is still in place to bring them down. No date is set, but you can assume it will be in the coming weeks (near-ish future).
